Article Title:	Free Income Tax Preparation
Under the guidance of the IRS, AARP offers free E-filing of income taxes for low and middle income tax payers in the Tampa bay area. The preparation is done at local libraries, churches, American Legion posts, credit unions among other sites. Taxes are normally prepared during the 9 am to 5pm, Monday through Friday time period.  Preparers are trained on the computer software during a one week class in the early January time frame, and are then certified with a test provided by the IRS. Volunteer preparers choose their own location and hours. Most work one or two days a week at a location close to their home. The taxes are prepared during the period from the 1st of February to the 15th of April.
