HR Transition Manager:
This role is responsible for the HR transition activities of
either an employee segment or a specific HR transition activity of
a customer contract at a major location, or for the overall HR
transition activities for all employees in a smaller geographic
region that support a major contract. The individual in this role
will perform a wide variety of HR and management related actions
to ensure the smooth and effective transition of the employees in
the area of responsibility. The HR transition related priorities
and initiatives include delivering HR-related information though
effective communication channels/media, the hiring Activity and
pre-employment activities, the orientation and on-boarding
activities, the integration of the employees into their new
organization and the potential outplacement of excess employees
resulting from divestitures and some outsourcing contracts.
Employees in this role are responsible for collaborating with
their internal IBM team and the client team to deliver the
specific HR transition activities and achieving the desired
delivery results and transition goals/metrics.
